Description

This bundle of books is in Modern Greek – Ancient Greek.

The Complete Works of Lucian offer a full picture of the wit and satirical skill of one of the most inventive and insightful writers of antiquity.

Lucian is known for his satirical writing and fictional narratives that challenge the conventions of his time.

In his satirical works, with a particular combination of playful criticism and scepticism, Lucian challenges the reader to laugh at the excesses of philosophers and the oddities of religious practices. His fictional stories are the forerunner of science fiction and explore the limits of human understanding.

The collection consists of 17 volumes. Each volume contains the original text in ancient Greek, a translation into modern Greek, an introduction and commentaries.
